Amendment to coffee post
Will soon be coming, I've recorded some thoughts, but I suspect they'd only make sense to me at the moment, so I'll transcribe them later. I was dwelling on what I said and realized that quite a bit of my meaning was lost simply due to word usage and facts that, although second nature to me as I've lived them, are not common knowledge. Unfortunately it will have to wait until this weekend or possibly even next week as I have quite a bit of homework piled up die to an illness this week.

Rendr Coffee
So yesterday I walked over to the coffee shop that many people have told me has "The BEST coffee in Boston!" And I'm really not convinced. It was okay, definitely nice to be out of the cold, and the service was oh, so friendly. I'll definitely go back, especially since it isn't far from either my school or my house. But the best? Ehhh. I hope not. I've certainly had better. One big difference I noticed is the amount of seating! Despite going at a peak time and at a popular cafe that also served food, I was still able to grab a table for myself, so for once I had my coffee served in house style, meaning gigantic mug. They even did some nifty coffee art on top. I had a Vanilla Latte, but then I wished I'd gotten a hazelnut latte, since I'd heard they were really good, but I panicked. Like usual.
Sorry there hasn't been much activity lately, but my goal when I started this was at least once a week. You can't force beauty every day after all... Now to go draw cubes until I want to die.

School Graffiti
They washed this off the trashcan in front of Annex Central. I always enjoyed seeing this on my way to class.
I don't know who painted this originally, but it certainly lasted quite a while.

Purple Lights
I think I took this out on Boylston St, but it may've been elsewhere. I walk around a lot.
It was below street level, so all you saw while walking by was a faint purple glow. I thought it was fairly interesting, especially with how the lights didn't appear to be a garland, rather made into the tree, each one given a slight flower shape.

Adventures in Googly Eyes
Starting a new blog in order to keep track of photos taken as inspiration, or just because I found them intriguing. I thought it'd be good to keep this separate from my other social networking sites as it will mostly be used for my work.
Saw this outside the Boston Symphony Orchestra Hall a few days ago, they pulled it down quickly, but I had a good laugh. It reminded me of the episode of Conan O'Brien where Seth Green brought googly eyes onto the show.
